A speech and language evaluation will be completed to assess speech sound production as well as receptive and expressive communication abilities. After an assessment, the SLP will develop an individualized plan to target the specific skills impaired.

Parkinson's Disease Treatment
We offer two programs for treating voice and speech disorders in individuals with Parkinson’s disease:

Cognitive-Linguistic Treatment
Individualized programs are developed for cognitive retraining that target affected areas in cases where direct improvements can be made (such as a stroke, post- concussion syndrome, or other types of traumatic brain injuries).
